Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

You might have heard of CBT, as it is a type of therapy that has become very popular and widespread in the last ten years or so. There is a lot of evidence now for CBT being an effective therapy for a variety of problems like depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.

It is recommended as a therapy for a number of mental health problems by the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and you can look at the guidelines yourself on their website:
