You are OK. You are worthy, loveable, and you can handle life.

Not sure that you believe it? I’m here to help you to move towards feeling like these things are true for you.

I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist and I offer one-to-one psychological therapy for a range of mental health difficulties.

I am trained in various specific therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassionate Mind Therapy (CMT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.

I will be able to work with you if you want to make meaningful changes to the way you live right now. I will help you to work out what you want your life to look like, how you want to be behaving in relationships and how you want to think and feel about yourself.

Freelance Research

I am available for freelance work on qualitative research projects around psychology and healthcare. I have extensive experience of designing and running research projects, and of collaborating with a variety of professionals and members of the public. Please contact me using the email address or the contact form on the website.

We will make a shared plan, with both of us working together to help you achieve what is feasible, and to help you to identify what cannot be changed and how you can come to terms with this.

I provide therapy for people with a number of difficulties in their lives, including:

  • Anxiety – general, specific phobias, social anxiety
  • Trauma, including traumatic childhood experiences and unanticipated traumatic events
  • Eating disorders
  • Depression
  • Relationship difficulties

I will meet with you for an initial assessment, and we will then agree on a planned number of sessions, in order to help you feel clear about the length of the therapy, and in order to help you plan financially.
